Puerta de Hierro Residential Development

In this horizontal housing development, Reality Capture was carried out using laser scanning to accurately document the initial conditions of the land and existing structures. Based on this information, a detailed BIM model was generated, serving as the foundation for the project’s design, planning, and efficient development. Additionally, Virtual Reality was incorporated to showcase different house types to potential clients.

EXTENDED REALITY

Laser scanning

Laser scanning enabled the capture of a precise point cloud, documenting the land and existing structures with high accuracy. This information was essential for recording dimensions, identifying critical conditions, and ensuring a reliable foundation for project design and planning.

BIM
(Building Information Modeling)

Using the laser scan data, a detailed BIM model was developed to integrate all relevant information about the land and structures. This model facilitated cross-disciplinary coordination, optimised design processes, and provided a key tool for project management and development.

Virtual Reality

Virtual Reality was used to create immersive experiences that showcased the different house types to potential clients. This tool allowed for a realistic visualisation of the proposed designs, improving spatial understanding and supporting decision-making during the sales process.
